Overview

Basil is one of the best herbs to grow in containers and is perfect for balcony gardening. It grows quickly in warm weather and can be harvested regularly. Basil thrives in British Columbia during late spring and summer when temperatures are mild and sunny.

Plant Overview

  • Best container size: 10–15L container, minimum 15cm depth

  • BC tip: Basil grows best between May and September when temperatures are warmer
