Petunias are one of the most popular flowers for balcony containers because they produce bright, colorful blooms throughout the summer. They are easy to maintain and grow very well in British Columbia’s mild climate.

Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1 — Prepare the container
Fill your container with potting mix, leaving about 2cm space at the top. Make sure the container has proper drainage.
Step 2 — Plant the petunia seedlings
Plant seedlings evenly spaced to allow proper airflow and growth.
Step 3 — Place in full sunlight
Petunias need at least 6 hours of sunlight daily to produce flowers.
Step 4 — Maintain watering and remove dead flowers
Water regularly and remove faded flowers to encourage new blooms.
